Sample conservation
The samples are immediately packaged separately for conservation. Personnel complete the sampling and proceed to packaging the samples on the scene. After it has been packaged, chemicals are added following the label instructions on the sample bottle for proper conservation. After adding the chemical, the samples are placed in a freezer.
Sample shipment
After the personnel have completed the day to day operations they must inspect and verify samples carefully and ensure that the samples are all correct; separately packing samples analyzed by each unit, putting them into a freezer at minus 4 degrees centigrade. In the meantime, they must also ensure that the reports and the sample monitoring table are completed and sealed in a plastic zip-lock bag along with the samples and shipped to the laboratories for testing. If for any reason the samples cannot be shipped back to the laboratory right away on that day, the samples must be stored in a freezer according to rules, and once the sampling operations are completed, ship all the samples to the laboratory immediately. The sampling personnel and person in charge of shipping must be aware how much time it takes the samples to arrive at the laboratory, ensuring that all the samples match the requirement of storage life.
